Imagine it's already May 2026.
Today I got time to look at my 2026 goals and I realized I still have a loooong way to go😅
Like how fast is this year moving, imagine I missed the deadlines I set for myself, how does that feel?

Then for a second I realized I'm actually competing with myself in this race and the deadlines are actually mine to set and to reset, so despite having  many unfinished business here, I decide to take a break and relax today.
I also had a check on my blog and found so many articles in drafts that I haven't published, like it's baaaad😂
Sometimes we get so preoccupied that we forget to breath.

Have you ever felt like you are drowning? Too tired to wake up? too tired to sleep? too tired for anything to a point you are just there.
It's because your mind is exhausted, it starts with your mental health then your physical health.
Can you ask yourself, when did you last had a good time? When was the last time you took a break, from everything and just be yourself. Not worrying about the economy, politics and everything else but yourself.
It's May and we are reminded to take care of our Mental Health, for the good days to come but how do we make sure that there are actually good days coming.
It's a call to action for everyone to be mindful of their mental health. It all starts with you, taking care of yourself, you must be the first person to prioritize you.
Taking a break doesn't mean you are defeated, it just means you are reflecting and restrategising.
Sometimes you need to be fair to yourself, pushing yourself so much that you can't handle it leads to mental exhaustion, giving yourself time will lead to mindfulness that creates productivity.
You are the first person who have your interest at heart, so you have to take care of yourself.

I know it's easier said than done, for those of us who feel that we don't have option B, we always push so hard, because we want better, but don't push beyond you because it will definitely break you when you reach your 'elastic limit'.

All we have to acknowledge is that we are not alone, people are navigating different life transitions and in a way we are all affected mentally, this also calls for support systems.
Who are your support system? are you a support system to someone?  because when you have support then you just push up to your limit then you look for support from your system.

In all these, self awareness is also very important, because if you know your strengths and weaknesses, then you will know how to leverage on your strength and when to seek help.
When you are self-aware, you know how to manage stress, you know how to set personal boundaries, you know when to pursue and when to let go.
When it's overwhelming, try to seek help and also support people around you, this is how you enhance your relationships and foster personal growth.

As we fight to create better days let's be mindful of ourselves. Let go of what drains you and concentrate on what charges you, preserve your energy for what builds you.
It's okay not to be okay, in this race, you are just competing yourself, so don't push beyond your limits, DON'T PUSH BEYOND YOU!
